What we eat probably has the greatest impact on our future health. What we feed our gut influences both our physical and mental health, determining our risk for chronic disease later in life.
The Cork School of Culinary Medicine, is here to empower you to cook healthy foods for you and your family, reducing the risk for chronic disease by integrating the science of nutrition and culinary skills.
Everything will be freshly made with no additives and includes foods proven to boost gut health and reduce your risk for chronic disease.
Not only can you choose from four different Mediterranean menus, we also have ‘Healthy Breakfast Options’, ‘Lunch Items’ ‘Mexican Nights’, ‘Warming Winter Soups’ and Healthy ‘Food For Kids’, that will keep the whole family on track to stay healthy and happy, you will be guided on knife skills as well as food preparation and storage to reduce food waste.
Neil began cooking under the training of Rolf Nelson at The Sconset Cafe, on Nantucket Island.
He then went on to work at 41 Main, Nantucket, and Espresso Cafe, before returning to Ireland to open Cafe Kokopelli in Kinsale, Ireland’s gourmet capital.
Later, Neil returned to school to study nutrition and has now blended his cooking skills with his nutrition education to open The Cork School of Culinary Medicine (CSCM).

Throughout all the classes we will use foods known to improve gut health, reduce inflammation and limit the risk of chronic disease, while including dietary recommendations for healthy nutrition.
